Who is M.O.D.?

Michael O’Dea, Director, M.O.D. Consulting


With over 20+ year sales and marketing experience, Michael is passionate about selling and people.

Michael has worked in sales management roles for multi nationals (NCR, Unisys, SSL Spotless Leisure Services) and for small business start-ups (ekit.Inc; ekit.UK), sitting on the Executive Management team at ekit Inc.

All these roles have been customer facing with new business development and customer relationship development critical to success.

In particular, the sales challenges presented to Michael in the new business start-up environment phase of his sales career were numerous, creating sales experiences and approaches that can be clearly identified with and shared with small business operators.

And these challenges are continuing on a daily basis as he develops the M.O.D. Consulting practice.

Having worked in London (UK); Boston (US) and Melbourne (Australia); Michael has had the opportunity to develop strategies, relationships and successfully sell to a wide range of customers across the UK, Europe, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and India.

Michael has successfully recruited, led, trained and mentored sales teams.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Melbourne University; and Post Graduate Degree in Sports Management from Deakin University.
